Amazing footage of The Worlds Most Camera Shy Praying Mantis, Beautiful Close up Footage, of an Australian Green Mantis playing hide and seek with the camera.

Fantastic close up using a Tele Macro Lens and an Optical Zoom to capture an amazing Praying Mantis that actually raced up and down a 2 Meter plant hiding behind leaves and it took me nearly 30 Minutes to locate it. The Praying Mantis ability to blend into the surrounding environment is quite amazing. Not just how they use their bright green color to blend in with the leaves and foliage, though they also have the uncanny ability to find the most unlikely little nooks and crannies amongst the plants leaves and branches, due to this the Praying Mantis could be right in front of your face, only inches away, and you may not even see them.
