Our Habits Make Or Break Us, How To Break A Bad Habit



Almost our entire lives are made up of Habits. 



Some of those habits are good habits and serve us well,  other habits are not so good,  and can cause serious problems in our lives. 



One idea that has helped many people to quit bad Habits Like Smoking or Drinking,  is how we associate Positive or Negative reinforcement,  with the habits and behaviours in our lives.



A habit that we associate with Positive reinforcement and good emotions and feelings of pleasure,  could actually be very bad for us,   whilst a Habit that we associate with Negative reinforcement,  with pain and bad feelings, could  be something that is very good us and have positive and constructive benefits for our lives.



People are encouraged to experience the habit and to be mindfully aware of what they are really experiencing whilst going through the habit,  and then to give their honest feedback on what is happening to them.



By being fully immersed in the Bad Habit,  and observing what was taking place,  people realized just how negative the effects on their lives actually were. 



From this new perspective on being Mindfully aware whilst experiencing their Bad Habit, many people were able to break these habits and to quit for life.
