Camera & Nature Filming Tips, Always Reset Camera Settings To Match You...

As the scouts say " Always be Prepared" this definitely applies when doing nature filming. One of the most important rules to follow when doing nature filming, is to always make sure that your current camera settings match the environment your are now filming, and to always have the settings done prior to doing your Film shoot, especially considering the fact that filming wildlife scenes without having your camera setup ready, means missing out on some of the best possible footage, and you can also miss out on some very rare wonderful and beautiful scenes.

Case in Point: When filming at Cronulla Beach, Sydney last year, I arrived unprepared, as a pod of dolphins was passing by, and simply could not get the camera settings and stand( Tripod) ready in time. So I missed out this incredible opportunity to capture this Beautiful Scenery.

I have also missed many wonderful moments for the exact same reason, so always be prepared, as often your previous camera settings simply won't match up for what you are now filming, so take that little bit of extra time beforehand, you can then look back on all those fantastic moments, knowing you captured the very best results and you will have no regrets whatsoever.
